How can we target our location? Is there a possibility to target the exact address/ truck stop?

We use Google Ads to target nearby drivers and fleets, making sure your shop shows up when they need help fast.

What Locations Can We Target?

We can target:

  • Cities

  • ZIP Codes

  • Counties or States

  • Custom Radius around a specific address (like your shop, a truck stop, or a major highway exit)

Custom Radius Targeting is the most precise option. It allows us to focus your ads within a set distance — like 1, 3, or 5 miles — around a specific point on the map.

Can You Target My Exact Address or Truck Stop?

We can’t lock ads to only your address (Google needs a little breathing room), but we can create a very tight radius around it — sometimes as little as 1 mile.

This means drivers and fleets near your shop or truck stop are prioritized, without wasting budget on people too far away to become real customers.

How Accurate is Location Targeting?

Google uses:

  • GPS data from smartphones

  • IP address information

  • Google account settings and location history

to determine where a search is happening. While no system is perfect, it’s very good — especially for drivers actively searching on mobile devices.

What About Drivers Just Passing Through?

If a trucker is driving near your shop and searches something like “diesel repair near me,” your ad will be eligible to show up — even if they don’t type your city name — as long as they’re inside our targeted area.

Why Radius Targeting Matters for Shops

Targeting by radius helps you:

  • Capture local and mobile traffic

  • Avoid wasting budget on people too far away

  • Reach urgent customers who are most likely to call or visit right away
